DVD2DVD-R - vinfo_open failed (): Bad data <H:.........

I am trying to covert a pal DVD to DVD-R using DVD2DVD-R, i get this error saying

vinfo_open failed (): Bad Data <H:

It has not happened beofre. Does anybody knows what the problem is?

just had it myself doing lotr extended version, disc 2 was fine but disc 1 gave me the error.
i used the d2v file to create an avi file with vfapi and used cce on its own and it worked great, my best guess was that the avisynth script had something to do with it.
once it finished i still used ifoedit to author with the other files dvd2dvdr had originally ripped except the new m2v file obviously.
