  1. Hi,
Got a movie im trying to capture then convert to dvd. Im using iuvcr to capture, then edit with vegas4. So I am forced to capture to rgb. The problem is, after rendering to mpg in vegas4 and then authoring in ifoedit the video is really jumpy and motion is flickering. It becomes more noticeble with quick motion, still images are not as bad. Does anyone know if this is correctible with a filter or some other way of conversion.

    Thanks

Your problem is interlace flicker and probably has something to do with the way you captured then rendered or your flield order. I beleive that digital captures and other digital devices capture in interlaced mode.

VV4 has a switch called "reduce interlace flicker". Make sure that is turned on when you render the file. But starting out, I think I would fully deinterlace the video first.
