  1. I have an XVID Movie 640 X 352 Pixels, Frame Rate = 23/Second, Data Rate = 211 kbps, Video Sample Size = 24 Bit, Video Compression = XVID
Now I am using TMPGenc - 2.5 - Version # 2.58.44.152 - Core Version - 1.90.140... to convert it to VCD so that I can view it on my DVD player. When I drop the Audio in....in Project Wizard 2/5 it tells me that the file is unsupported. When I play the movie thru Windows Media Player #9 it plays perfectly(with sound). Do I have to produce a seperate sound file for TMPGEnc encoding to VCD and If so....HOW?

Can someone please share some light as I am totally baffled. Please HELP.

    Thanks MLOR

  4. the audio is in a format that tmpgenc wont recognize. in vdub open the xvid file and go to audio...full processing mode then to audio...compression and select uncompressed PCM and click ok. then click file...save wav and save it where ever. then in tmpgenc use that as the audio source.

The above method works fine as long as the audio is not AC3 or VBR-MP3, if it's one of those then use Goldwave instead.

Also, you may need an audio codec. Check the file using Gspot from the Tools section.
