Unable to play?

Hi, I'm new at this so any help appreciated. I've managed to burn a film and it plays fine on WinDVD-region 2, but it won't play on my stand alone DVD even though it's possible as I've watched other VCD's on it. All that come's up is the first seconds then stops and on the display box it says Menu, but from there nothing I cannot access it or anything.

You need to give more info if you want help RE:burned what DVD,SVCD,VCD? The method use to achieve the burn RErograms to produce project and process used as burn application ect. More info = better help.

If you used NERO and it was a DVD project try another burn application and see if this helps.

Sorry about that I used DVD Decrypter that worked fine, then used TMPGEnc to encode it and ended with an mpeg if I'm correct, and it worked fine on a media player. It was to long split ok, then changed to vcd and ended up with a cue/bin file. Then burnt it using Nero 5.5.9.14 hopefully into vcd, it still plays on the computer from the disc on WinDVD but not my standalone DVD player Daewoo DQD-6100D, even though like i said i have played other vcds on it.
