SVCD to DVD problems...

I just got the matrix reloaded on 3 SVCD's and i want to convert it to DVD complinant MPEG2 so i can author a DVD with spruceup. I have done this before with lord of the rings 2 towers with no problems.

My problem is this: i can get the audio to work! I cant open the .mpg file in VirtualDub (gives me this error: MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error) and i cant open it in TMPGEnc in the audio slot (it says 'File "C:\cd1.mpg" can not open, or unsupported.') but i can open the same .mpg in the video slot and even encode and it looks great, but no sound!

I know the .mpg itsself is fine cause it plays perfecty with PowerDVD. I tryed importing the .mpg's directlty into spruceup but it says its incompatible.

And i have the Nimo codec pak installed as well.

Please help ASAP!!

well whatever, your just jelous.

i got it to work, i dont know why this worked but it did:

opened MPEG tools in TMPGEnc and opend the orgional .mpg file in simple multiplex tab in video input field. hit run and it made a audio only .mpg file, now that file works as a audio input in main project. did a short test (3 mintes) and it worked fine, audio all there and in sync.
