    i just got my sony drun and im trying to test it out, since ive been getting errors with tmpgenc i was just gonna use ulead dmf2 to do everything,now, i know its slower but what i wanna ask is if i just drop my avi file in there, can this be accomplished

  2. yes it will but I have found that it messes up the video. It seems to stretch the video to fit the enrite screen. And Ive also had trouble with the audio, when it converts it to pcm the total file size is too large.
    I always use tmpg. then use movie factory to author the dvd.

    What kind of errors are you getting in tmpg?

    ive corrected the errors i got in tmpgenc, it was because i ran out of hd space.......i followed the ulead dvd mocie factory dvd making guide but i stil got a coaster, luckily its a rewritable...holla back
