    This is really weird. I have converted a ripped DVD to a .d2v succesfully in the past using DVD2AVI.
    Now, when I launch DVD2AVI, either through the shortcut or by simply opening the .exe file, the GUI doesn't appear anymore. DVD2AVI does appear in the Task Bar, in the Task Manager and I do get the icon when i hot Alt+Tab, but the GUI remains invisible.
    I have redownloaded version 1.74 and overwritten the existing files on my HD, but to no avail. I use W98se.

    Can anyone give an explanation about this?

    This happened to me a couple of times now I just re-install to solve thye problem
