    Anyone else have this problem?

Just downloaded DVD Slideshow GUI. Can easily create a slide show and publish in DVD format but when I attempt to add music to the same slideshow and then publish, all I get is a blank slideshow with a red border & some music playing. I've tried adding different mp3s and even wav files but I get the same result.

If anyone could help with this problem, it would be appreciated.

  2. If you're running it under Vista, you need to right click the DVDslideshowGUI.exe file in the main folder of DSG and "Run as administrator..." or else Vista will not allow DSG to save temp files to your harddisk - which's something it does for a living

    Am running XP.

The slideshow is perfectly fine when published without sound. It's just that if I add a .wav or .mp3 to it to get a little music and then publish, I get no pictures - just the music playing over a red border with black inside. I get this wether I publish to DVD or mpg.

  4. Are you using the latest version? Check link in sig. If you are I'm sorry to say that I'm not able to reproduce it here. It sounds like the temp settings-preview file(DVDsGUIProTemp.avs) is rendered instead of the actual dvdsguitemp.avs file. If you got music on your normal previews, then as a workaround you can export as .avs, load that file into Super and render it to mgp and finally use Gui for dvdauthor to author you dvd. Alternatively if you allready got GFD installed then try to export as .gfd from DSG and use that file in GFD.

  5. I think I found that bug you mentioned - so I hope it's fixed in the 0.9.1.1 version.

    Thanks

    Thanks Tin2tin,

    It's working!!!

This program is the only freely available Photo Album to DVD I've found and it now works a treat.

    Best Regards,
    Daniel
