Ulead Movie Factory vs. Movie Factory 2 ?

I have an opportunity to get a real good deal on a new copy of Ulead DVD Movie Factory. Anyone familiar with their products know of any problems with that version? Would I be better off just buying MF2 in the first place, or are they close enought that I will not notice much difference?

why not go to the ulead site and download the trial version and read the tutorials and find out "whats new" in the #2 version?

Not trying to flame tumbar so I hope it doesn't come off that way, but your suggestion doesn't really answer the question as in the end I would be making assumptions.

The nice thing about getting feedback from someone who has used and liked a product is they often upgrade too so they can help you make an informed decision based on their having actually used both versions (which I cannot do).

I use Ulead Movie factory 2. MF2 has the Ulead MPEG.now codec by Main concept. The conversion to VCD quality is good. MF2 is very simple to use and has all the basic options. I use it for all my VCD's. You can put vide and slideshows in the same menu wich can run sequentially or individually.
