I'm suddenly experiencing problems capturing from my VCR to my PC. I've made a bunch of these but suddenly I experience picture freezes when grabbing with PICVideo MJPEG Codec to avi. The picture freezes while the audio keeps on being captured. At first I thought it was because one of my tapes was bad. 3 tries gave a freeze at the same point in the video tape but I happens all the time now and it did not use to do that. I usually use Iuvcr or Virtuel VCR both with the same result. I'm a bit puzzled since I have not changed anything I think. It sort of seems that dropped frames is causing the freeze but why now suddenly after I captured so many of my old tapes?
Hardware Ati 8500DV AIW.
Any ideas to what's going on?
