  1. Hi guyz.I am a newbie , the problem i have is that a friend gave me 'DARKNESS FALLS'' on dvdr .It was given to me on a yellow discwrite. He has given me other bits and pieces before and all work fine.Last night i went to watch DARKNESS FALLS on my pioneer stand alone dvd player.I got to the main menu and pushed '' play movie '' i was then presented with a choice of wide screen and full view.I have tried both and cant seem to get passed this part. Can anyone help me on how to sort this movie pout.I have a dvd writer so can sort it out. Thanks in advance.

    Bad burn.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

Yeah, it sounds like either bad media, bad burn, or as you suggested bad rip. The CSS may not have been removed before backup. Somebody just hitting COPY and not thinking.

no, this DVD have Fullscreen and WideScreen format on it.. IF you remove one the "bad" way (ie: removing only vobs) it could crash.. I had this problem with my first burn... second burn I made movie only.. too much problem

Enter the movie via scene selection and then chapter 1 then choose version kept, this should stop looping problem. KNOWN duel version problem. I'm working on EASY fix, not so easy to fix so far. IC7 always does this it seems on duel version where one is removed [RE; 16:9 and 4:3] on same disc.
