No there is one other MAC os it's not made by MAC but a small team of people for networking I think. The Screen Saver's had them on i think the team was about 10 programmer's or so. Most people do not even know about it

I believe there is something called X11 that incorporates alot of Aqua and is open-source. But I could be wrong..

What the hell are you guys talking about? More importantly, what does this have to do with Mac Video? I move for a thread lock on this one, before it degenerates any further...M$ is probably just covering their ass from the code they stole from BSD software, so that SCO doesn't sue them. Carry on, then; nothing to see here.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté." -
Yes I whole-heartedly agree with wiseweasel. This is a crap post to start with, but in a Mac video forum? Come on!

well if SCO win's and Gate's buy SCO I do not think it will be crap and I hope it's does not happen

do you mean the bulletproof, drop-proof MAC that was silver and black? i forget the name. i'll look into it.

Ok I just spoke with a friend of mine at apple and he said there is an article about it on http://slashdot.org/
So this post is for real but it shouldn't be in a mac dv forum.[/url] -
Everyone and their brother has made or altered a version of UNIX. If your talking about SCO's big-ass lawsuit its nothing to even waste time on. Before SCO had the rights to UNIX it belonged to Novell, all SCO really has is the name "UNIX". Anyway Microsoft already made a version of UNIX back in the Mid 80's called "ZENIX". (if I remember it didn't go far)
so this discussion can now cease before it becomes to crass.
