need vcd help pleeez

i have a divx moive and it is widescreen when i convert it to a vcd with Tmpgenc it streches out the movie and it wont stay in wide screen can someone please tell me how i can keep the movie widescreen i will apreciate it very much thank you

1. find out framesize of divx, maybe the properties tab. 640x350 is approx 16:9, 720x340 is 2.11:1.
2. set appropriate aspect ratio at Mpeg Setting 'video' tab, 'Aspect Ratio'.

'source' on the advanced tab should be 1:1

then when you play it the player should make it 16:9 widescreen. This seemed to work for me earlier today, hope it helps.
