  1. Well

I was trying to convert a .mov file to MPEG but when I use TMPGEnc, I get a unsupported format error.

The file I am trying to convert is a Blizzard cinematic (WOW Movie).

Any help would be mucho appreciated

  5. Well

Actually after going thro the forum posts, I did find a way out.

You begin by converting the mov files to avi using rad tools then convert the avi to mpeg. The problem I faced was that when I tried encoding from avi to mpeg, all i got was a blank screen. Audio but no video

    Any ideas?

  6. What I do is:

    1) Convert MOV to avi with rad tools (if necessary use Total Recorder to generate wav file)

    2) Make AVS file to frame sever video to TMPGenc.

    3) Load AVS file as video source, (load wav as audio source if necessary).

    4) Encode

Frameserving is sometimes necessary if the AVI is in a 'non-standard format.' D/load the MMX optimized verison of AVISytnth (frameserve program) and read the helps file for more info.

  7. I have been converting Quicktime movies to Avi and then to Mpeg a lot lately. Check out my post at http://www.vcdhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=59075&forum=3 for a simplified way of doing this.

    Enjoy!
