I just switch to these Riteck discs!!
I had a bad experience with Princo discs so I tried Riteck.

I am very happy with them, I have burned about 30 so far and not one coaster! Its what I will be buying from now on.

Not sure about the 2x burning, I burn at 1x.
I have a Pioneer DVR-105/A05

Check a compatability chart when/if you order, it might help you with your 2x question. Or with any luck someone else on this forum can help us!!

I'm like Evil Twin. After bad Princo, I got those disk (I got a 100 spindle with my friend (50/50))

They record at 2X on my LG drive with no problem. My friend record them at 2X with a Pioneer A05, but I think he got an hacked firmware.. anyway incredible disk so far.. go ahead and buy them !

I'm a fan. Also a convert from Princo's. I'm a little perturbed that the price keeps going up, but I like burning them at 2x on my 105 with the hacked firmware. No coasters!!!

Riteks have been very good with me as well.
I have burned almost all using the 2X4ALL firmare hack.

I believe that these Ritek silvers are the G03's that everyone loves. These disks are really good. They are inexpensive (notice I didn't say CHEAP) and good quality. I've burned 200 of these disks and have never had a problem with any of them. The Apple/Verbatim/Pioneer-only people are really missing out on the excellent quality of these disks.

I burned almost 500 of them on an AO4 can't get one of them to burn on my Vivastar which to me is strange since my Vivastar burns good under 4GB on all the cheapest of discs and won't even recognize a ritek

I too have had great success with the Ritek G03's...

They are not the cheapest, but they work for me and are cheaper than the "brand name" disks...

Ritek are superb.
I read they have approx. 51% market share and quite rightly so.
Are you in the UK?
