    Its probably something silly, but I dont seem to be able to change the ouput size of a film in UMF. I am converting a AVI to DVD and the output file will be 4.8Gig. Changing the mpeg settings from high to good or fair does not seem to change the output file size. Any help appreciated

    change the project settings.

    Yes thats what Im changing, going 8000 down to 4000 and still same size output

    try changing the audio from LCPM to MP3 either 224 or 192, also try constant over VBR, friend had the same problem once he went to constant, problem solved.

    Ok sorted had do not convert compliant mpegs ticked, dont know what that has to do with avis tho
