i was wondering if there was a way to burn a DVD and with the extra space left on the burned DVD burn MP3 files (so both the video and music files could be read by a dvd player)?
    Regards

Does your dvd player support mp3 files on dvd media??? If so then it may work, it depends if you can switch to mp3 file mode if a dvd-video is detected.

To mix dvd-video and data files on a dvd you just add the mp3 files to the root dvd folder or create a new folder. Some dvd-video authoring tools supports this or else you choose to author the video to a dvd folder and later burn with for example nero and choose dvd-video, add the video and then add the data files(mp3) to the root folder or a new folder.
