  1. I recenntly purchased, The Green Berets. It has a side A and a Side B.

Is there a way I can combine them so I have the copy on one single sided Dvdr?

I travel alot and less is more.

Thanks in advance for any replys.

  2. As far as I know this only works when you re-author to burn movie only...

    01. Rip each side of your DVD to separate VIDEO_TS folders using a program such as DVDShrink, compressing each side so that the total number of Mb in both folders combined will fit on one DVDr

    02. Delete ALL Video_ts files from BOTH folders.

    03. Rename the files in the second folder Vts_02_x.xxx (use whatever number [i used '2' for this example] you need to keep your files in sequence with the files in the first folder) just change the number and nothing else.

    04. Move the files from the second folder (second half of the movie) to the first folder (first half)

    05. Run DVDtoolbox

    06. Source = first folder

    07. Select [Create Video Manager] (video_ts.ifo)

    08. Burn empty AUDIO_TS and first VIDEO_TS folders to DVD-/+R

  3. Phyphor, to start a thread on a subject that has been treated several times is ok if the threads have been buried in times and tricky to find with a search.
But to do it when the exact same subject can be found in the thread below yours is a bit of a sin in the message boards world.

  4. I realize, NOW there are copies. As soon as I posted one I found one stating joining. However I tried to go back in and delete my post. Unfortunately Deletion is not a privlage I have. And I did a search unfortunately my wording and others are a bit off. I would never have thought to type Joining hehe.

  6. i personaly never tried doing something like that but i'm guessing this method only works if you rip just the movie vob's from each side. is there a simple way to rip 2 dvd's with menus and extras and all. each would be about 2 gb and burn a dvd-r that when you play will first show a menu to select which "dvd" you want to play?
the only wa i can think of is ripping m2v and ac3 files and just reauthor everything.
