My system:
Asus K7V AMD 1GHz, 256MB RAM, 40GB HDD, 5400U/min, ATA100
When I use the reference Drivers from Nvidia (V21.81 or older), the capturedriver from Asus isn't working. Even worse the live-Video seems to been displayed in PAL Resolution (704*575), but at a frame-rate of 30fps. This result in a flickering display of the picture.
Do somebody know a resolution for this problem?
Thanxx in advance, Erik

Just a thought
Have you tried the new beta driver from asus for your card - last one I got was ver 12.91 - works better with some codecs than others and differently to the driver supplied with the card (ver 6.31).
Do you not need this driver to run with the asus capture driver - once this is installed you can then open the digital vcr application and change the capture properties there - then open virtual dub (or whatever) to do the actual capturing.
