I'm using TMPGE to encode an AVI to DVD and I have many options with respect to which source aspect ratio to choose. Last time I chose 1:1 for 640x272 average. Is there any rule of thumb to consider when selecting the source aspect ratio. I have selected 4:3 aspect for the output meg2 file.
Thanks in advance,
VC

I always make sure that as well as selecting an aspect ratio I also click on KEEP ASPECT RATIO in the settings section, this appears to stop everyone being stretched.
