is there away to remove layers from audio file. Example lets say there was music in the background is there some way i can mack the music volume lower but still keep other sounds the same?

there are some things you can try, but the short answer is not really... not without some serious hardware, at least.

one way you can try to fix it is if you have a copy of the music in the background, open it in your audio editor and try to get it sounding about as loud or soft as the music in the background of your vid.

Then take that music file and invert the phase.

Now, mix that inverted-phase file in with your original video's audio track. In theory, the music in the background should be cancelled out by being mixed with it's inverted-phase twin, leaving only the dialog.

In practice, it's not that simple. It'll take a ton of effort to do it, and after a long time you will probably still not be happy with the result.

If you want to see how well it will work in general, take any audio file and mix it with any music file - just do 30 seconds of something. Then invert the phase on the audio file, and mix it in, and see how it sounds - you'll get a feel for what you are in for...
