    Hello,
    Im trying to back up a dvd to vcd, but it seems to have pcm audio, which doesnt wanna work with forty-two or ffmpegx-the easiest ways to go directly to vcd for me. Can someone please tell me the easiest way to get this dvd backed up into mpg-vcd, that will work with the pcm audio of the dvd? I really really need some help guys! Thank you for your time.

  2. What DVD is it? Does ffmpegX have problems w/PCM audio? Could have sworn I've backed up DVDs with PCM audio....

    well its weird...

    forty-two tells me it contains sumthin other than ac3 or it is totally pcm and it wont let me to continue but says i can make divx. but i seem to be able to extract ac3 files from it in osex, yade, etc., whats up with that?

    then in ffmpegx i have problems too. it doesnt convert, it just stays at this step:

    it is the "50 Cent - The New Breed DVD" that i am backing up for my brother. Anyone know whats goin on?

    maybe i should rerip and start over, any ideas? HELP ME!
