    I have this 3.95GB DVD-R.
    When I try to rip it I get this message:


    Any other DVD rips just fine.
    The disc is absolutely mint, no scratches or fingerprints and it plays fine on my standalone DVD player.

    Any ideas what the problem could be?

    Play the dvd first w/ powerdvd or windvd.

    then try and rip it

    Play the movie. pause it, then open your ripper again... the old good way to unluck movies
