    * Improved Edge rendering for Painting
    * Added color saturation control
    * Added job control (so now AviSynth is supported)

    Some examples:

Sometimes it's necessary to cut edges or select parameters, but it's
possible to create good pictures. If you will create nice examples and will
be ready to show it to other guys - please let us know (we will add links in
gallery or will make something like "Users gallery")!

    Enjoy!

I wouldn't really call this "cartoonizer". It's more like turning video into oil paintings and sketches. I've actually seen people "cartoonize" live action images, it's a lot different (truly "cartoony").

    Still a neat filter.

I've seen some comic books (or "graphic novels") that have this look to them - they look more artistic then cartoon-ish (they don't look anything like the "traditional" animation you see in most movies), but you could lump them into the "cartoon" category.

I just been messing around with this in VirtualDubMod and it looks kewl ... I'm encoding a short piece of a movie that I know well (probably seen this one movie more than most).

    I'm curious how it will look in real time ... the VirtualDubMod preview c r a w l s ...

I'm wondering ... is this what they did for that Keanu Reeves movie A SCANNER DARKLY or was that done by hand?

In fact is this freaking movie even out yet I've been seeing previews for ages ...

    - John "FulciLives" Coleman

    P.S.
The AMAZON.COM website has a July 7, 2006 theatrical release date but I swear I've seen trailers and previews for this movie for like the last two years now I think? What the hell!

This is not LAST release! Stay online!

In plans - incorporate into filter face detector (feature: auto high detailes on faces to show eyes and etc). For "real cartoons" we need for high quality object tracker, we also working on it now.

    Still a neat filter.
    Thanks!
