ffmpegX splash screen still showing after registration

So I received my registration key this morning and copy-pasted it in the "Enter Code" menu during the splash screen along with my name.

All looks fine until I close it and re-open it and it's still notifying me that I'm using the shareware and a code must be entered. Tried the code without the hyphens, tried to re-install it..........no success.

I e-mailed the developer and awaiting a response.

Has anyone else had this issue?

This issue is mentioned once before.

Make sure to enter both the Name and Code exactly as provided in the e-mail, especially with regard to case-sensitivity. The name and code are linked, hence you should use the same name as used for registration, when you requested the key.

I wasn't aware that the name could affect the registration.
