  1. Hello,

    I have some VCD cd's I want to convert to DVD so I can burn a few movies on one dvd.

    I have bought SVCD2DVD and have used it only a few times to convert svcd, but I am a bit puzzled now because the VCD cd's contain a few directories:
    \CDI
    \EXT
    \MPEGSAV
    \SEGMENT
    \VCD

    The movie is located in the \MPEGSAV directory and is this file
    AVSEQ01.DAT

    But SVCD does not recognize DAT files so I can not add this to the asset screen?

    Can anyone help me how to go about this?

    Regards
    Dooku

    Well the best way is to extract the mpeg using IsoBuster. Use step One from this guide: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/159399.php

    OR

    You can copy the AVSEQ01.DAT file to your hardrive and rename it from .dat to .mpg. SVCD2DVD will then accept it and turn it into a proper mpeg file.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
