Hello !!!
Well what can I say ... I got a yellow card recently.
This allowed me to look at some old threads where I had been given warnings and maybe I am just full of myself but damn I am a funny mother f'er at times. Or at least I used to be.
Some threads where I got warnings:
1.) ok im fed up HELP
If you read anything ... please read this thread. I was laughing so hard I spit up.
2.) NIPPY GLITCH-SOMEBODY WHY????????????
This one is only mildly amusing but I still like it.
3.) I Have Had It !!!
This one has some comments from the great indolikaa ... may we never forget him. I may have to do a search on his name to get some better examples of his style. It was so unique and refreshing. I miss him *wipes tear from corner of eye*
4.) After making over 400 + DVD's This is my findings.
One word sums this up. gmatov. This user sucked ass. Be glad if you never got into it with him. Still though this is funny and worth reading. He is banned now LOL.
I know there are many more than that but with so many yellow cards given then removed some of the yellow card links are gone now. I have too many posts to sift through them all to find the rest of them.
So assuming I don't get a yellow card for this thread (hey this is off topic so I figure I'm safe ... right mods?) I encourage other people to post similiar moments from their past.

A Classic....Thanks
indolikaa has been seen over at the Pit for the past few Months.... -
Ah, the halcyon days.....
That reminded me of the thread where it had to be carefully explained to some poor lost soul that a CD-writer would not burn a DVD.If God had intended us not to masturbate he would've made our arms shorter.

For a guy that hates the Jerry Springer show and the mentality that goes along those lines, I find it amusing and saddening to reveiw those old post.
All in all I never really saw all that much harm in most of them, but I am a pretty easy going dude most of the time. I realize that there are some standards that the site must attempt to keep along the lines of bashing, profanity, pornography and warez type stuff, but I still miss some of the old timers that managed to get banned.
It is kind of funny how stupidity in a thread breeds more stupidity to follow. Kind of like real life huh?IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT? -
The problem that I have with digging for those threads is that they remind me of why I created a certain thread that has entered the Witness Protection Program.
In those threads, I see tons of warnings, but never for the instigators or flame contributors. There are people whose sole purpose in some of those threads is to flame and insult, yet they get no warnings, but tjhose who flame and help get multiple.
For a list of other funny (classic) threads, check the post history of any of those banned in Fulci's linked threads.

This one's a classic. Tell me, Fulci, just how many yellow cards have you accumulated over the years? I actually tried to get one on more than a couple of occasions and was unsuccessful.
-
teegee, the link is funnier if you notice who is banned and who is still here.

P.S.
I still want someone to dig up the thread with the "how to burn a DVD using a microwave" post. God that was funny shit!"The eyes are the first thing that you have to destroy ... because they have seen too many bad things" - Lucio Fulci

Having done a quick search on posts containing the word microwave, I find a disturbing correlation between said posts and banned users. A more paranoid person might begin to believe there is a higher likelihood of getting banned if one participates in posts that involve references to microwaves.
I suggest that we all back away slowly from the MW word, and pretend the whole thing never happened.
P.S. I couldn't find the post to which you referred.Read my blog here.

What a peculiar thread.

It is definitely interesting reading.

Was doing some searching and found some more good threads.
1.) HELP FOR THOSE WITH AUDIO PROBLEMS!
2.) destroying a BURNT DVD +R Disk /w software?
A bunch of "old timers" get in on the act with the 1st thread. The 2nd is only mildly amusing but involves microwave disc use (or ummm abuse) so I had to include it.
Still looking for the elusive how to burn a DVD with a microwave" thread.

I'm still looking for that really old thread where that person was complaining about how his "friends" porn VCD's came out blocky.

As for Naked Geek I remember makin an Avatar that was a picture of his disc with an red circle around it and a slash through it ... like the Ghostbursters logo LOL
I recall several people used it and/or made their own anti-naked geek avatar LOL
