Dear forum members,
Once I've exported and configured the project, I open Encoder to generate the movie. The problem is that a few seconds after clicking the green arrow to start compilation, I get the following error: "Encoding error because the source duration is zero." Honestly, I've never encountered such an error before, and I don't know where to start. Does any forum member know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

I've never gotten this error but based on the error, the 1st thing I would check are the in and out points on the premiere timeline to make sure they are correct. Then I'd look at the range to make sure it's set correctly, if the in an out points are correct.
In the Export Settings window, ensure the "Source Range" is correctly set (e.g., "Entire Sequence," "Sequence In/Out," or "Work Area" with a defined work area). Adjust the In and Out points in your sequence to encompass the desired content.Last edited by Brainiac; 9th Aug 2025 at 07:21.

It's certainly a strange problem that I've never encountered before.
I have redefined the entry and exit points (the work area) and the error no longer appears. This is weird.
Thank you very much for your help.
