How can I find the Product Key I'm currently using for XP on my system I used to know how but don't anymore.

A friend just bought a computer and it's asking her to activate it and she dosen't know where the # is.

Mine is in the packaging that XP Home came in. It's on a big, yellow sticker.
Of all the machines that we have built with OEM copies of Windows on them, they all have a Microsoft Genuine Certificate of Authenticity hologram sticker with the key on it, to be placed on the machine case. If you don't see that, and there is no key in the documentation then it could be a pirate copy. -
MS has a phone number that I posted it a recent thread if she can't find her number. Its just for key problems and lost keys.
