    384Mb PC100
    ATI AIW Pro 8Mb
    Win2000
    Huffyuv codec
    Latest version of vdub

I have successfullt captured at 352x288 but the option to go higher simply isn't there in the vdub video format drop-down box.

    Any ideas ?

That's weird. I have all the options up to I think 720X540 and I can't choose higher than 320X480. I get an Error 418 Unsupported format. I can capture with other capture programs at a higher rs though.

  3. 'Set Custom Format'

In Vdub should let you pick your own resolution.

  4. Thanks for the replies..

I had already tried the set custom format (after my first post) but get "Error 418 Unsupported format" for anything over 352x288.
I have the latest drivers for the card.
MGI Videowave 4 SE will let me select upto something like 720x288 but I don't suppose this will be much use for doing sVCDs ?

    Any more ideas ?

    cheers,

    Col
