  1. I got a Creative ATi 9800XT 256mb card that has been working great for 5 months now. When I got home one day I found that graphics now look like this:

    3D-games:

I've tried upgrading everything to the latest drivers, doing a clean install of my system which is now WinXP Pro SP2. Upgraded BIOS, you know the whole sallad-list you go through when something like this happens.

Though the funny thing is, when running Windows Mediaplayer with its screensaver in fullscreen I get no artifacts. But all other 3d screensavers, even those 3D Pipes that come with Win, gets all blurred and artifacted when run.

Anyone have a clue as to what I should do? I am beginning to fear that I gotta return the card though.

    My system is:
    Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz Boxed PC800 Socket PGA478, 512KB cache
    MSI 865PE NEO2-PFS S478/800mhz I865PE,SATA, ATX, GbLAN, Dual DDR400 mainboard
    2xCrucial PC3200 DDR-DIMM 512MB CL3 5ns Unbuffered, Non-parity, 2.5V, 64Meg x 64
Creative Radeon 9800XT 256MB DDR AGP, ATI 9800XT, DVI, TV-Out, Retail

Also, anyone know of a good ATI-forum?

    Regards,
    X.

It almost sounds like a memory problem, try Googling your card and see if anything comes up. I have to warrany my damn Power-Color 9800XT, even with all of the latest drivers and a cooler system, I get artifacts galore in Doom 3.

The problem originated in SP1. Tried clean installs for both SP1 and SP2, same problem still persists.
