Using TMPGEnc 2.02.31.119 under WinXP, I've run into a problem. I use TMPG to cut commercials out of footage captured from TV, and it's always worked fine until now. When I play the original capture the audio is in perfect sync, but when I play the trimmed copy produced using TMPG, the sound is 3 seconds late. In fact, it seems that the first 3 seconds of the video that I want to include don't "make the cut", so to speak, even though the audio designated for those 3 seconds *are* included. This appears to be the source of the problem.
Any help?

The Merge & Cut tool in TMPGEnc is known to be buggy. Sometimes I need to run several times to get the right result. Sometimes the video is missing after several minutes. Make sure you are not running anything else while you are doing it as the process is taxing heavily on your harddrive traffic.
What version of TMPGEnc are you using? Probably some versions are less buggy than the rest.
