i hope "101 - Death has a Shadow" is indeed a home video cleverly disguised as a family guy episode.

you want them in DVD-Video format on that DVD-R? Then I suggest you are not going to be able to do it. At the moment your files are in compressed xvid format. To get a decent MPEG2 format for DVD-Video you would need to go at least 3 times the bitrate you currently have and therefore 3 times the filesize (all approximate numbers).
I'm also guessing you have somewhere around 10 hours of AVIs?

    28 videos X 22 minutes each = about 10 hours

To get 10 hours on a DVD encode your avi's to mpeg using an audio bitrate of 128 kbps and video bitrate of about 850 kbps. You should use VCD resolution (352x240/288) for bitrates that low. Use any authoring program to make the menu.

u can cram all of em on 1 disc if u want. get tmpg dvd source creator. it lets u select for example 6 videos and adjust the compression to have optimal quality for your amt of videos. i cant reccomend u try to put all 28 episodes from seasons 1 and 2 on 1 disc because that in violation of forum rules, plz discuss your piracy goals elsewhere

  6. 28 Avi x 23 Min each = 644 Minutes. You CANT get all that onto 1-DVD. Your bit rate will be like 700 which is really low, lower than VCD. Quallity will look really crappy if you do that. You choice would be put onto 2-DVD.
Useless you go find a DVD Player that can play AVI files, then you just burn it as data(This will fit all onto 1-DVD).

I know a way to put 75 episodes on a single DVD. But it won't be high quality (though not "crap" either) and it won't play on many players.

    Possible, but not smart.
