    Hi all I have several great movies I downloaded from the net.Thay are already in an AVI format.

    Is there any way I can Improve the picture quality ?

    i don't think so. better quality source you have before encoding, the better the output will be. but always less than the source.....

    Bummer.So even if I convert it to say a dvd format the images wont get any better ?Oh well I was hoping there was a way to clean up a movies quality/

    no matter what you convert it to, it will still not get any better than the source. you might be able to get equal quality but not better...sorry...
