  1. Im using the YUDEN000T02 8x disk's and i cant burn at 8x with these on a nec with hacked firmware. anyone know how to get this to work?

    You shouldn't need any hacked firmware; those burn at 8x with all stock firmwares for the ND-2500A.

  3. hmm it doesnt burn at 8x. When i set DVD Decrypter to 8x its gets a error and goes to 4x and then at about 60-70% it gets to 8x any ideas? or is this normal?

    Well it can't burn at 8x the entire time; the ND-2500A uses a Z-CLV burning strategy so it starts at 4x, burns for a while, jumps to 6x, burns for a while, then jumps to 8x and finishes. I'm not sure if this explains what you're experiencing though.

    The ND-2500A takes about 9 min 30 seconds to burn a full DVD at 8x.
