Avi to DVD authoring problems

I have problems converting Avi to DVD using Boilsoft avi converter does not solve anything since the video and audio stream do not appear to be coordinated nor video quality is far from AVI original

Ok I answered myself tis question by using Winavi converter 5.8 however the original audio stream was 5 channels as stated above converted into mpeg1 I get 2 channels. Converted into DVD pal I get a VOB by I have no idea how to see how many channels the combined output is
