    Hi

    I have been trying to capture from my Sony capture through a 1394(firewall)and i have discovered that the quilty of the captured file is very poor. Could anyone tell me where i'm going wrong.

    Maybe it is the capture software you are using, which is ?

    I am a newbie myself but I have been able to capture great quality from my Sony TRV11 (Mini DV) through Firewire using Pinnacle Studio DV 7.

    So what are you doing? what programs? what type of video? is it something you taped with the camera or are you using the camera to import other videos? what camara? Are you refering to the capture before processing or after? you gotta give people more to work with.

    i'm using Adobe Premiere 6.0 and i'm capturing from ITV Select without using a tape straight into the computer, i have a sony trv 310e and a cheap 1394 card.
