  1. I use it to make sure the disc are much more resistant to water, just in case. if you get a single drop of water on one after printing it'll run like mad. just depends on who will be using the disc as to whether its worth it for you. I also think it gives a more proffesional look. the gloss makes it look like a store bought DVD. the Key is to mist a couple coats on from a distance. hold the can about 12-16 inches away and spray almost straight down with only a slight angle. keep the can moving too, don't ever let it linger in one place or it will build up heavy.

    burn first then print (then spray if you have to - I have spray but it's not clear to me the effect of the spray on the disk long term).

    if you print first, you might scratch the disk which will cause big problems burning .. if you scratch the disk after burning, not as big of a problem as the player will correct for a small scratch when reading
