I'm using NEO dvd plus to burn an avi file that is 717000 kb. Problem is that NEO dvd has only 3 setting for quality 'good', 'better', and 'best'. When I use best, the file is too large to fit on the dvd. When I use 'better' the file is 3028 mb, which is too small. I would like the file to fill up the entire 4.7 gig disc. Is there a program that I can use where I can set the bit rate to fill the entire disc? Thanks.

What is the original resolution of the AVI? I will assume it's a DIVX/Xvid file, in the which case a high bitrate is pointless. The "better" setting will work just fine.

Yes, it is an xvid file. Why is it pointless? Isn't it better to use the full space of 4.7 disc instead of compressing it to 3 gigs? Am I not losing quality by using 'better'?
