    Hi

    how do i change a file from txt to srt? i tried properties and look for an option but there wasn't any.

    what the hell are you talking about? You just want to change the extension of the filename?

    I assume this is what you want. I assume you have Win Xp. So do this:

    #1. open a folder any folder just open one.
    #2. at the top of the folder click "Tools" then go to "Folder Options"
    #3. go to the "View" tab
    #4. take the checkmark out of the box next to "hide extensions for known file types".
