I have successfully ripped the DVD audio from a concert (using AC3) and now want to split it as it's one long audio track (over 1h 30mins)! This will enable me to put the concert onto CD. I have ripped it as a MP3 file and it plays fine. As the songs follow on from another with no silence in between, I am guessing I will have to put a break/fade in automatically for each track. I have read numerous guides, including the post before mine on splitting audio but I am not sure how to do this. Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide/freeware to do this. Thanks in advance.![]()

You can use CDWave (freeware) to insert track markers between songs without having to fade out/in, except CDWave requires a wav file, it doesnt accept mp3. You can convert from mp3 to wav using Winamp (another freeware). Best not to let CDWave automatically insert markers - do it manually (it's straightforward).
Hope this helps.[/url] -

Sorry, yes your quite right House Pig. But there's no limitations in the unregistered version. It's more a conscience thing. And now you've spurred my conscience, heh...thanks for reminding me!
