I've authored a few DVDs using GfD's "Audio Titlesets" feature.
I.e., insert an audio titleset, add a dozen AC3 files.
In my own DVD player, when I insert the disc I see the menu as expected and selecting a titleset it plays all the tracks in the titleset (originally a CD album; so this is what I want). I have each track as a chapter.
However, If I put this disc into a friend's Sony player, on selecting the titleset it plays one track, then pauses. You have to press the "nest chapter" button on the remote to continue.
So is there a way (a pre-command, presumably) to make this player, and hopefully all players, play all the tracks in a titleset by default?

Is it the Play All button youre looking for?

... or alternatively:

I don't think so. That will play the entire disc, not just one titleset
I actually have 14 audio titlesets, each one a separate album.
What specifically on that page?
I looked at the earlier and can't see anything relevant -- except that you can edit "VM-command" which I know, and expect is what I need to change, but I don't know what to. Currently these are blank, the default. -
Usual question: dvdauthor or muxman as authoring engine?
But independent from the answer...I have each track as a chapterGUI for dvdauthor:

1) I used dvdauthor
2) I thougth it was weird. Hard for me to re-author as I don't have the source (AC3) files any more. And as you can't just switch the engine in an existing project, I'd have to rebuild the GfD file from scratch, and with 200 audio tracks, with a bit of customising, that took quite a while. But I'll try Muxman next time.
But my friend's player often has glitches with my GfD-authored DVDs; hard to get back to the main menu for instance. But as it's Sony I thought it was just being more strict about standards than my cheap Chinese player.
I can send you the GfD file if you want to have a look at it.
I was hoping there was some PRE command I could insert. Even using PGCedit, as I could then just copy and patch the authored DVD. For instance, when I have subtitles my player will default turn them on unless I use PGCedit to set them default off (I don't know how to do that in GfD); other players don't show them unless they're selected.Last edited by AlanHK; 3rd Aug 2010 at 09:14.
