I wrote Memorex for a replacement on this crappy media that keeps burning coasters. They sent me a link to a form which I figured was appropriate to post to the forum. I'll let you all know when/if I get my replacements.

I know the original post is old, but wanted to know if anyone here has had their bad media replaced. I never received anything, not even an email acknowledging my request. They're a bunch of strokes.

i remember seeing at least one guy here praising Memorex for replacing his defected mdia and so on...
I also had a faulty batch of the ProdiscS03 by Memorex but i got my refund from Amazon where i bought them... customer service is everything....
With all due respect... and there is respect...

  4. I got no response in over a week. They seem to do OK at 2.4x for me (whereas Maxell & Verbatim 4x works at 8x on my Optorite drive).

So, I'll keep them to use when speed doesn't matter. And I'll also never buy Memorex again.

I just called Memorex and explained my problem to them. They said that the form that you fill out online goes thru their firewall and sometimes is filtered as spam. At least that was the case with my submission. Nevertheless, I'll be receiving my discs in about two weeks. If the form doesn't go thru, you can call them at (888) 311-7333 option #2
