  1. I'm trying to make an svcd which reuses tracks (e.g. with the help of a xml file), since I've seen that a lot on anime svcds.

    Here's the setup:
Track 1 would be the opening (e.g. 40mb)
    Track 2 the ending (e.g. 40mb)
    Track 3+4 are 2 episodes. (e.g. 360mb each)
Problem is, if I burnt the op/ed twice, I'd be at 880mb, instead of 800mb.

    Here's what I want:
When I play it in my software/hardware dvd player, the svcd should cycle through the tracks in the following order: 1-3-2-1-4-2.

What tools would I have to use to get that order? Or is it just some simple xml tag I don't know about (yet)?

  2. Yes it is a matter of XML. VCDEasy can do this for you and is
the easiest to learn but there are other apps availabe that delve deeper
    into XML writing.

  3. Could you give me some pointers on how to do that in VCDeasy? (since I haven't found anything in the tutorials so far, only how to split tracks into chapters)

Or point me to any other tools that generate the necessary .xml file?

(I'm kind of trying to avoid doing the .xml file manually, although I already did so, and managed to get my track order the way I wanted, but I'd prefer a simple gui for that)

    Thanks in advance!
