I have one of these that works fine as a TV Tuner apart from an audio "pop" every 60 seconds or so. This appears on captures as well as in real time viewing. Anyone with any suggestions on how to cure this problem ?

I had the same card with no popping. Mine was connected internally
The only time I notice any popping sounds is when changing a configuration or starting a app such as the FM tuner on winfast XP2000. Possibly something else using the soundcard? Why don't you try disabling all the inputs on the soundcard except the one you need for capture. Ifyour using a soundblaster this pic may help, the buttons for disabling are circled in red.
