  1. Hey guys. Ever since I got my new video card I've been having this weird problem with Premiere... see, I'm trying to make a music video, but every time a file with 24-bit pixel depth (16-bit ones work) enters into the Project, there is a playback error. It will play the file in the Timeline, but it's as if it doesn't keep up with the framerate, as little blocks of the last frames stick to the current frames. I have a picture of this:

    Odd, no? Those blue blocks above his foot are not supposed to be there.

    The weirdest thing is that these files used to work fine. I used the exact same sources in my last music video, and nothing went wrong, but now that I have this new video card, even with updated drivers, those things are still there. The other odd thing is that this is only in a Premiere Project; in WMP, Virtualdub, and even the Clip Window before the file enters into the Project, it plays fine. Only when its entered will this error appear.

    I switched from a nVidia GeForce 4 TI4200 64 MB to an nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 MB.
