Hi,
I recently went skydiving & they put the movie on DVD. I would like to post the video on my website for some friends & family. I am a little lost on how to get started.
Is there a easy to use program or any easy way to do this?
Thanks,
Rich

What are you wanting to accomplish exactly? Is this a video that people will download and burn to DVD or CD for watching on their TV set or are you just wanting to make an easy file to download and watch on a PC? You can go with DVD, SVCD, VCD, Divx, Xvid, WMA, MOV, etc. Too many different things you can do with it. You should be more speciffic.

Make them into window media file or Real media file.
That will be easy for people to download or watch online.
Then sell them the DVD if they want the 'original' quality!

Use DVDShrink to rip the DVD. Use Virtual Dub mod to convert it to AVI. then use Windows Media Encoder to save it as a wmv. file.

Wow, thanks for all the advice.
The video is a short 5 minute video. I am not looking to sell it, just to take it from my DVD & put it on my PC (winXP PC, 3000 mhz, 1gig ram, etc).
I have no software at all for ripping or doing any of this. My video is not copyrighted or anything like that.
