  1. I downloaded a sample VCD MPEG from DVICo's site from their FusionMPEG encoder. It looks good except Nero and TSCV complain about it having invalid stream encoding. Are there any tools out there that can give you detailed statistics about an MPEG file, and maybe even check for VCD or SVCD compliance? Please go to the following site and read the details of a test I did with this file using TMPEGEnc and Womble. If anyone can explain the differences found, I'd love to know.

  2. Normally if I want to scan/anaylze a MPEG I use VCDEasy (under the tools section). You can d/load the newest ver 1.0.5 from http://www.doom9.org
