HELP / ADVICE NEEDED.

Hi,

I have recorded from TV some programmes, however they contain commercials.

The setup - Panasonic E50 DVD Recorder, recording onto DVDR- media.

Problem - I need to find out how to transfer to PC (hopefully MPEG) and then be able to edit the video. Once edited, save back to MPEG or simular so that I can then put back to DVDR.

A guide of how to do this and what software (bearing in mind I'm new and in-experienced to this) is needed would be appreciated.

Not sure if I can use DVDShrink to put DVDR onto the PC and then edit the VOB's ?????? or if there is a really simple way.

They other thing I need to ask, is how do I go about creating a nice simple menu for the front and what software package is good for this as well.
