frame skipping of when I burn to disc

I was able to transfer a tape to my PC with VideoStudio 6 SE and then burn to Dvd with DVD MoviFactory 2.

When I replay the file(not the Dvd) on my pc it works perfect and looks real good.
The problem is when I burn it to DVD and play it, the frames get choppy. The audio stays in sync but the video is frustrating to watch.
What should I do?
